Members Show518 viewsThe 2008 Winter Members Show at the Marion Art Center opened this week. The show features 73 pieces submitted by over 35 of the MAC’s members divided between the building’s two main galleries and is open now through February 28. Romance and Dance503 viewsFlutist and Marion resident Wendy Rolfe and pianist Deborah DeWolf Emery will perform a tea-time concert titled “Romance & Dance!” at the First Congregational Church of Marion on Saturday, January 26 beginning at 5:00 pm. The program will feature lively tangos, Brazilian dances, lyrical romances, and Eastern European folk rhythms by world-renowned performers. Suggested donations at the door of $8 ($4 for students) will benefit the music program at the First Congregational Church.
