One in a Million1179 viewsOne-year-old Madison Gallant of Marion was recently the millionth visitor to Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford since the zoo’s re-opening in August of 2000. Madison was accompanied by her mother, Kate Ostneberg, who was the millionth and one visitor to the zoo. Kate and Madison received a free zoo membership, a $100 shopping spree at the North Woods Gift Store, a train ride around the zoo, and lunch at the Bear’s Den Café.

The talented singing group held their Disaster Relief Concert, “Rockin’ Through The Ages,” on November 5 in a packed hall at the Knights of Columbus in Mattapoisett. The program showcased the children performing a musical revue spanning five decades.
