Tri-Town Bike Benefit470 viewsSeveral hundred children and their parents braved soggy conditions to participate in the first annual Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) Tri-Town Ride for Kids on Saturday, May 19 starting at Center School on Barstow Street in Mattapoisett. The young bikers arrived with the goal of pedaling their way towards raising $10,000 in the fight to find a cure for cancer. Ruocco will be the Principal Speaker at Mattapoisett’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremonies to be held on Monday, May 28 beginning at 1:30 pm at Center School. LTC Ruocco graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1979 and served on the faculty of his alma mater from 1996 until his retirement in 2002, having served 23 years on active duty.
