Horse of the Year

The Arabian “Baltic Star,” a/k/a “Bailey,” just won the “Horse of the Year Award” from the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). The horse is owned by Barbara Foster of Marion, who is also well-known as one of the organizers behind the annual Marion Horse Show in July. Bailey was nominated for the award by her trainer, Cheryl Lane-Caron, who runs Cranberry Knoll Arabians and National Show Horses in Rochester. (Photo courtesy of Reg Foster).
