On Monday, September 19, the Annual Golf and Tennis Tournament fundraiser to benefit the Nativity Preparatory School of New Bedford was held at the Bay Club in Mattapoisett. Larry Oliveira, a trustee of the board and co-chair of the event, is pleased to announce that in spite of rain that day, the benefit netted $71,000 for the school. Tennis players competed indoors at the Marion Tennis Center and many golfers and tennis players attended the dinner and auction.
