While work proceeds on Mattapoisett Neck Road in Mattapoisett, a sharp-eyed reader caught this detour sign which has since been altered to hide the “seek alternate route” portion ... and with good reason. We’d like to challenge our readers to provide us with a possible “alternate route” to access Mattapoisett Neck for a chance to win a prize. We’ll also publish the most creative and/or amusing suggestion in a future edition.
