Farewell to George

A large group of local residents gathered at the Ned�s Point Lighthouse in Mattapoisett on Thursday evening, September 4 to offer a final goodbye and tribute to the late George Liberty III, the owner of George�s Deli and Take-Out and a well-known and well-respected tri-town resident. Mr. Liberty and his wife, Bec, were quite fond of the scenic Ned�s Point locale, and would often go there to watch the sun set. (Photo montage courtesy of Carol Ingram).
