Chief Scott to Retire

Mattapoisett Fire Chief Ronald Scott announced his intention to retire after many years of service with the Fire Department and 16 years as Fire Chief during the Mattapoisett Selectmen's meeting this week. Deputy Fire Chief Andrew Murray has been appointed Interim Chief until a permanent, full-time replacement for Chief Scott is hired. (Wanderer file photo).
