Stan Ellis Retires

Old Hammondtown School teacher Stan Ellis will be retiring this year after 29 years of teaching in Mattapoisett. Mr. Ellis will be recognized with a Massachusetts Jazz Educators Lifetime Achievement Award at the Massachusetts Music Educators All-State Conference on March 18, and Mr. Ellis will soon be publishing a book entitled Whiskers on My Cat.
