Ironman

Mattapoisett native Shane Wilhelmsen completed the Ironman competition in Mont Tremblant, Canada on Sunday, August 19. Wilhelmsen conquered a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run in just under 13 hours with a time of 12:52:49. Wilhelmsen began running in 2009. Photos courtesy of Rick Wilhelmsen.
