Thanks to a state grant, the Old Rochester Regional School District held an Acceleration Academy last week for over 150 students. Representing Grades K-2, 3-4, 8 and 10, the students participated in five days of concentrated study in early literacy and math. The week’s effort added up to a month’s worth of classwork.
