All Mattapoisett police station services, including communication and 911 services, are being facilitated with the help of the Plymouth County Sheriff Office's mobile response unit. The police station operated out of their parking lot on the Memorial Day weekend of 2010 due to a burst water pipe on the second floor of the station, which caused significant damage to the building.
