Tuesday brought the end of an era, as the Bowlmor bowling alley on Route 6 in Mattapoisett village came down when Costello Dismantling demolished the long beloved venue. The structure had suffered a 2017 roof collapse, resulting in a condemnation order and eventually a demolition order for the building. See story on the Mattapoisett Board of Selectmen.
