On April 17, the Mattapoisett Land Trust in partnership with the Mattapoisett Public Library hosted an airing of the documentary “Straws”, a film about the negative impact plastic straws have on marine life. The screening included a panel discussion that brought together local experts to share their views on pollution control, recycling, and protecting the oceans.
