Old Hammondtown School in Mattapoisett recently completed their first-ever “Reading Idol” program which began in February. Students were given incentive raffle tickets for every hour of extracurricular reading they did which could be exchanged for chances to win various prizes during a school assembly held on Friday, June 1.
