Opening Day Ceremonies for the 2007 season of Mattapoisett Youth Baseball (MYB) included special guests and local legends such as former American Idol contestant Ayla Brown, who sang the National Anthem and threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and former Boston Red Sox pitcher Brian Rose. The day also included a tribute to longtime MYB supporter and former Mattapoisett Recreation Director John Haley with the field at Old Hammondtown School in his honor. (Photo by Robert Chiarito).
