Amidst Tuesday’s silent backdrop of rust-colored leaves nestled between a stone wall and Mendell Road, the Town of Rochester has done a great deal of business over the last week sandwiching a Special Town Meeting in between two Board of Selectmen meetings yielding approval for new highway equipment, the codification of bylaws, and a new assessor’s report.
