Old Colony Football265 viewsThe Old Colony football team is off to its best start in years, even after last week’s loss to Upper Cape. Head Coach Bryce Guilbeault said his team plays hard every down, and he expects big things from them. “I think this is the best team since I’ve been at Old Colony. This is the most talented team we’ve had.” Photo by Nick Walecka.

Stars & Stripes Forever Musical Revue222 viewsThe Marion Art Center staged the “Stars & Stripes Forever Musical Revue” last weekend to packed crowds. The rousing show mimicked a USO event, with the audience being entertained as the “troops.” The production featured the “Swanson Sisters from Sheboygan: Dixie, Trixie & Pixie,” (played by Caroline Blaise, Pam Breton, and Denise Bastos) and was hosted by the hilariously funny “Frankie B. Sharpe” (played by Eric Bosworth). The MAC theatre was set up cabaret style, and guests brought their own refreshments.
