Voices in Time, a children’s vocal troupe under the direction of Rochester’s Sharon Jensen is pleased to present their ‘Heart of Rock & Roll Cabaret’ which will spotlight music from the Rock & Roll era. In addition to highlighting all students with entertaining musical numbers, this season’s cabaret will also spotlight some of the musically talented fathers and brothers of students as well. This live band, combined with the impressive student performances, is sure to get the audience rocking!
The Heart of Rock & Roll Cabaret will be held Friday, February 1 at White’s of Westport at 5:30 pm. Tickets are $26 and include a full-course turkey dinner, which will be followed by the live cabaret show. For tickets or more information, contact Voicesintime@aol.com or (508) 642-7155.
2013 marks 20 years of quality vocal instruction by Sharon Jensen and community entertainment by Voices in Time. This year’s students range in age from 7-18 and are from all over the SouthCoast and Tri-Town. As part of their vocal education, students learn basic vocal techniques along with how to safely utilize their voices while learning or enhancing performance skills.
Students of all vocal abilities are welcome and the traveling vocal troupe enriches the lives of many people and organizations throughout the community.
