The Friends of the Elizabeth Taber Library in conjunction with Community Veg Marion are hosting a one-day tour of secret vegetable gardens on Friday, September 29 from 12 pm to 3 pm. Tickets are $25 per person, tax deductible, all money goes to the Elizabeth Taber Library.
Come celebrate the Harvest Moon and be inspired to start your own vegetable garden. Register at the library, ASAP. Tour is limited to 40 people. Pick up a tour brochure at the library on the day of the event. Visit the library’s seed bank and take some seeds for frost tolerant kale, collards or arugula. Or take out books about gardening.
