The Mattapoisett Free Public Library has an exciting update to our technology services. To support the needs of budding and seasoned makers and artists, the Media Lab is now open and ready for use. Building upon an existing 3D Printer and worktable, the Media Lab is now equipped with tools to help users design and produce innovative and original projects with ease. The purpose of the Mattapoisett Library’s Media Lab is to provide library users with a space where they may use various digital media, creative software, and associated technologies that support their educational, professional, and personal goals and endeavors. Within the Mattapoisett Media Lab, users will be able to utilize tools like the Media Lab computer, 3D Printer, 3D Scanner, Cricut, Cricut Smart Heat Press, Animation Studio Kit, and more. Software that users can take advantage of includes the Corel Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite.
