The Sippican Lands Trust (SLT) is excited to offer our first ever, outdoor painting workshop! Come join renowned artist, Kim Barry, on Saturday, July 12 (with a rain date of Sunday, July 13) from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and enjoy instruction and painting on one of SLT’s beautiful and inspiring properties.
Kim has an impressive background in the arts in both training and experience. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design, and an Associate of Fine Arts from Colby Sawyer College. She has an extensive resume of art-related jobs and teaching history covering the past 20 years. Currently, she serves as the Chairman of the Art Department at CATS Academy in Boston. This is an amazing opportunity for painters of all levels, in both oil and acrylic paints!
The workshop will be held on SLT’s White Eagle Property located off of Parlowtown Road in Marion. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own supplies. Space is limited to 20 participants for this event and registration is required. It is open to everyone; however, SLT members can register for free and non-members will be charged $20.
Please call the office at 508-748-3080 or email info@sippicanlandstrust.org to register. It is first come, first serve, so register today! If you find that you are unable to attend, please let us know so we can make the spot available to someone else. Thank you!
