Frozen Flyers907 viewsA group of South Coast pilots recently took advantage of this winter’s cold conditions to use Snipatuit Pond as a landing strip. The pilots use charts provided by the United States Government to determine if the thickness of the ice is enough to support the weight of their airplanes. Locks of Love906 viewsRochester sisters Arissa Anne Underhill (age 9) and Deianeira Marie Underhill (age 7), both students at Rochester’s Memorial School, recently had their hair cut to be donated to the charity “Locks of Love.” Hairdresser “Deb F.” of Hair and Body Solutions in Rochester cut the girls’ long locks which will be donated to make wigs for children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatments. Both girls were born with their own medical issues and received years of care from local hospitals.

3rd Annual Bulldog Dash905 viewsAlmost 200 runners and walkers braved the autumn wind chill to turn out for the third annual ORR Bulldog Dash on Saturday, November 24. The dash was held to raise funds for the purchase of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the athletic department as well as to purchase equipment for the Cross Country teams.
