Friends of Old Rochester Music120 viewsThe Friends of Old Rochester Music (F.O.R.M.) recently held their Scholarship concerts in the ORR High School gymnasium, featuring all five ORR districts. Choirs performed on March 5 and bands on March 12. The Sippican Chorus featured soloists Olivia Crillo and Gigi Arone. Marion Natural History Museum120 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's afterschool group had a chance to explore and map Ram Island with Dr. Michael Moore and Mrs. Hannah Moore this week. We investigated salt marshes and mapped osprey nests, found some horseshoe crabs and met some donkeys, chickens and friendly dogs on both our Wednesday and Thursday trips. Tour de Crème120 viewsBenjamin Schwartz (192) and Carolina Silva Martinez (193) push hard, along with Constance Chandler (228), while the Sharpe family takes an ice cream break. All were participating on the 22-mile ride of the recent Tour de Crème fundraising event held by the Mattapoisett Land Trust. The MLT estimated 350 riders this year, along with 100 volunteers and seven awesome, participating creameries.
