An advent wreath is a circle of greenery, marked by four candles that represent the four Sundays of the season of Advent. An additional candle is lit as each new Sunday is celebrated in Advent. 1st Congregational Church of Marion11 viewsThe 1st Congregational Church of Marion staged a group of youngsters to perform their annual Christmas Nativity. The children enjoyed a much-deserved celebration with Christmas food and cookies, and excitement filled the air with the singing of carols and the making of a beautiful nativity scene that they take home to set under their Christmas trees.
