The fundraising event is a familiar, welcome event every summer in Marion, and it has something to offer everyone. Each teacher devised their own scavenger hunt for the kids that helped the students discover their classrooms. Presto Press179 viewsA partnership between the Mattapoisett Historical Society and the public library allowed the sale of duplicate issues of the Presto Press, which was printed from the 1950s until the early 1990s. People poured over the stacks seeking a specific issue or year to take home for their personal archives.
