Marion Veterans Day Observance197 viewsDuring the Marion Veterans Day observance on Friday morning, the townspeople of Marion expressed a heartfelt thank you to the Benjamin D. Cushing VFW Post 2425, which in return gave a moving farewell as it disbanded this year and donated the VFW building to the town. We "bounced" and floated cranberries to determine if they were good and learned a little about the bugs of the bog, including IPM (Integrated Pest Management) techniques. Amos the greyhound 197 viewsAmos the greyhound is new to Rochester and he and his owner ‘Ms. Holly’ have been looking to find his niche in the community. Since Amos is a trained therapy dog and he loves kids and books, he decided to hold an event at the Plumb Library on Thursday, January 12. Fare Thee Well197 viewsDanni Kleimann led the school staff one last time on Wednesday, June 21, for the annual RMS student send-off. This year, the day marked Kleimann’s last day at RMS as she is retiring after 31 years. Kleimann is best known for directing the Shakespeare plays at RMS and for orchestrating the student send-off every summer.
