Some 43,000 took part in the event that raised a record-breaking $3.3 million. Bench Mark569 viewsEight students from Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School in Rochester recently constructed and installed three new benches on the Village Court property in Mattapoisett. Working diligently under the direction of OCR instructors, the students dug holes and firmly anchored the benches on the premises in 90-degree heat. A full breakfast of eggs, a drink, potatoes and toast will cost a diner under $5. The menu is as varied as it is delicious and meals are prepared to order, unlike most fast food restaurants.
