First Congregational Church of Rochester187 viewsThe bell of the First Congregational Church of Rochester rang above the center of Rochester for the last time this morning, November 20, before it was lowered from the church’s belfry via crane to the ground, the final step of the renovation on the church. The historic bell, created in 1892 by an apprentice of Paul Revere III, grandson to our famous bell maker Paul Revere, will be refurbished and put in storage for some time before it is returned to the church.
