The officers raised over $1,500 letting their facial hair grow out, a no-no for the rest of the year for the officers. The addition was dedicated to contractor Matthew Sherman, who passed away before completion of the project. On Friday, March 14, the COA hosted an Irish luncheon, complete with, of course, corned beef and cabbage to mark the occasion. Irish or not, most donned their St. Paddy’s green and broke bread together with Selectman Naida Parker, who assisted in serving up lunch, along with COA Director Sharon Lally.
