Pinewood Derby276 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month. Other awards included, Best Theme to Connor Lavoie for his Batmobile, Best Design to David Strom for Kool Kone and Best Paint Job to Max Richins for Bulldog. Photos by Felix Perez

‘The Secret’276 viewsThe Marion Art Center wrapped up the first session of Artstart with a production of ‘The Secret’ this Friday. The two-week program for children ages four to nine focuses on arts, crafts, music, theater and stories. Program director Nancy Sparklin said the children had great fun and all got along wonderfully.
