Sippican School Garden Club196 viewsMembers of the Sippican School Garden Club have been busy this harvest season caring for their vegetables, herbs, and flowers after school. On September 23 it took ten enthusiastic little gardeners to pull up a ten-foot tall sunflower and carry it to “Weed Mountain.” After, the kids collected greens, grasses, and flowers to make an arrangement for the main office. Hot-To-Trot Dog Walk196 viewsOn November 30, a spring-like winter’s day, the Sippican Lands Trust held its 2nd annual Hot-To-Trot Post-Thanksgiving Day dog walk. About 12 dogs of all shapes and sizes brought their humans out for a guided tour of the White Eagle property located off Route 6 in Marion. Dogs received stylish orange neckerchiefs and dog treats. Super Duper Summer Fair196 views The First Church of Marion held its Annual Super Duper Summer Fair on July 25. The fundraising event is a familiar, welcome event every summer in Marion, and it has something to offer everyone.
