Mom's Running335 viewsOver 600 runners came to Mattapoisett on May 9, 2010 to celebrate mom in the fourth annual Tiara Classic 5K road race. This year’s race had more runners than ever, despite the wind and cold temperatures. Bike Run 335 viewsThe weather was perfect for a motorcycle ride at the second annual Brad Barrows Memorial Athletic Scholarship Motorcycle Run on September 17, 2011. Motorcyclists paid $20 per bike to participate in the run from Mattapoisett to Wareham and back, with the proceeds benefitting youth sports in Mattapoisett, Marion, Rochester and Fairhaven. Rail Trail335 viewsOne of the obstacles in the next leg of the Rail Trail is the Eel Pond inlet which will need to be bridged. The Friends of the Bike Path (Mattapoisett) will be holding a meeting on February 28 at 6:30pm at the Mattapoisett Library to go over the bike path progress.
