Harbor Days Craze355 viewsThe town gazebo was the scene of another sultry Harbor Days this past weekend. Rows of vendors peddled their fun wares while visitors of all ages enjoyed music, conversation and the best strawberry shortcake in the world. The festivities started in earnest on Friday night with chowder and seafood rolls, and continued until Sunday. Only 51 more weeks until Harbor Days 2011! Photos by Felix Perez.

Emily is a member of Ship 40 Nobska from the Cape Cod & Islands Council. Currently she is the Northeast Region Area 1 Boatswain and she served in a variety of Ship and Council leadership positions. Emily is an Able Sea Scout and is working towards completing requirements for Quartermaster. She’s been awarded the Sea Scout Leadership Award and she earned the God and Life Religious

Pinewood Derby355 viewsMattapoisett Pack 53 held its Pinewood Derby on March 9 at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church. The Cub Scout division had 14 entries, and the Enthusiasts division had 11 entries. The five fastest Cub Scouts cars going to the regional competition in Rochester on March 23: 1st Gabe Michaud, 2nd Kyle Pina, 3rd Thomas Tseki, 4th Matthew Crain, and 5th Eamon Perez. Matthew Crain's blue and gold lego car won Best Scout Theme car, and the Most Unique Design went to Liam Garvin's camping car.
