Troop Leader Dennis McLaughlin and several other troop parents oversaw the installation, which was Patrick’s Eagle Scout project. The Sunfish racks will hold a total of four Sunfish and their gear. This year’s weather was a major improvement from last year’s soaking, but overall participation was down this year. 10th Annual Fairhaven Fire Muster292 viewsA team of five of Mattapoisett firefighters represented the department on Sunday, August 25, during the 10th Annual Fairhaven Fire Muster at Livesey Park in Fairhaven. Mattapoisett Fire Department Association Chowder Competition 292 viewsOn September 8, the 5th annual Mattapoisett Fire Department Association Chowder Competition featured a variety of flavorful chowders from restaurants and public safety facilities from Fairhaven, Rochester, and Mattapoisett.
