The 2014 Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremonies will be held at ORRHS on Saturday, June 21 at 5:00 pm, and the annual ORRAHOF golf tournament will take place the following day, Sunday, June 22 at the Back Nine Golf Club in Lakeville. Old Rochester Regional Youth Football274 viewsThe Old Rochester Regional Youth Football teams are hitting the fields hard in order to prepare for their upcoming 2012 season. This year marks the seventh year for the program. With over 150 players in the program, there are six teams and a dedicated staff of coaches and parents for a support system. Plymouth Sands Trail Riders 274 viewsOn Sunday, October 28, the Plymouth Sands Trail Riders bike club held a hare scramble at the Mattapoisett landfill. The club, which boasts over 300 members from all around New England, had over 100 riders participate in the event. Riders from teens up to seniors took off for the 40 minute races around the 2.5 mile wooded track. Proceeds from the event will be part of an annual donation the club makes to fund cystic fibrosis research. Photo by Eric Tripoli

3rd Annual Bulldog Dash273 viewsAlmost 200 runners and walkers braved the autumn wind chill to turn out for the third annual ORR Bulldog Dash on Saturday, November 24. The dash was held to raise funds for the purchase of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the athletic department as well as to purchase equipment for the Cross Country teams. ORR was in competition against several area high schools including GNB and Fairhaven High School. In the races, the ORR girls took first place in the 50 HH, 50 D, 600M, 300M, and 1M. Squash at Tabor273 viewsOn Saturday, January 4, 2013, Tabor Academy hosted Phillips Exeter Academy in a women’s junior varsity and varsity squash tournament. The Tabor team, which has almost 40 players, had a 1-2 record going into Saturday’s competition.
