Librarian for the Boston Public Library at Copley Square, Boston and was
the former Children’s Librarian at the South Boston Branch of the Boston

Cinco de Mayo250 viewsAfter hosting a successful fundraiser, a “Cinco de Mayo” luncheon, at Mattapoisett Congregational Church, the church Missions Committee presented a $750 check to the American Legion on Depot Street on Wednesday, May 15. The $750 will help the Legion pay for the installation of a new furnace thus saving on heating costs and enabling the Legion to continue renting the popular building to local groups. Rochester Green Ways 284 viewsOn Wednesday, May15th the Rochester Green Ways Committee met to work on its Wildflower Garden in the center of town. Members cleaned up winter debris, weeded the beds that are filled with native and introduced plants that are called weeds by some and planted new seed for this and future years beauty. This is a necessary chore that was enhanced by the fact that it was held on the state and national Plant Something Day. May 21, 2013

Brady (right), who suffers from a congenital heart defect, and classmate Ty Dumas traveled by motorcade with diplomatic security to meet with Gov. Deval Patrick, who showed the children his collection of challenge coins. Patrick also provided Brady with a citation to commemorate the visit.May 21, 2013
