Relay for Life217 viewsIt rained down hard the night of the 9th annual Relay for Life at Old Rochester Regional, soaking the ground, the tents, and the participants – but it didn’t stop anyone from coming out anyway to walk for a cure and honor those who have battled cancer. The event raised over $42,000 and the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. Photos by Jean PerryJun 19, 2014

100th Brthday183 viewsIf you see Marion Connors, wish her a Happy 100th Birthday! Connors’s daughter Patricia Normand credits the two-mile daily walks up until Marion was 90, and her daily half a glass of red wine for her mother’s longevity. Family and friends celebrated with Marion at the Sippican Healthcare Center activities room on Friday, June 13. Marion turns 100 today, June 14. By Jean PerryJun 19, 2014
