Children of the Corn708 viewsHopefully there won’t be any encounters with a creepy little kid named Malachai when people attempt to maneuver through the intricate corn maze at Cervelli’s Farm in Rochester which will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 25 and 26, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. Sparky Makes the Rounds656 viewsSparky the Fire Dog had a busy weekend recently, making the rounds to Open House events at both the Mattapoisett and Marion Fire Departments on Saturday, October 11. Planting Shellfish559 viewsStudents participating in the Marion Natural History Museum’s recent after-school planting shellfish program with Marion Shellfish Officer Isaac Perry plant seedlings to help repropogate the area’s natural resource. On Wednesday, October 1, the group took advantage of low tide to do some digging and help renew the town’s shellfish beds. A graduate of Fairhaven High School and the Anjos Massachusetts Real Estate Licensing School, Ms. Bendiksen attended UMass Lowell for two years and plans to return to school and earn a degree in Global Studies and Environmental Sciences with her scholarship award. Cushman obtained the shirt from Richard Carlson, a guitar tech at the Hit Factory in New York where the sessions were recorded, who received the shirt as a gift from Lennon himself.
