The SouthCoast Children’s Chorus – along with parents and patrons – scrubbed for bucks during a car wash at the Mattapoisett Fire Station on Saturday afternoon, raising money for their general fund with a busy performance schedule coming up. “We hold fundraisers to support the work, the growth, and the performances of the Chorus,” Artistic Director Leslie Piper said. “We want every child to be able to sing, so we offer tuition scholarships for those who need them.” Photo by Shawn Badgley.
