Nasketucket Bay State Reservation

White pine trees are common around the Nasketucket Bay State Reservation in Mattapoisett. One can easily identify a white pine from the needles, which are soft, and grow in groups of five. Pictured here is a young white pine no more than a few years old. Photo by Eric Tripoli.
